General Information about Facilities
- Electronic library workstations: Two Electronic Library
workstations provide access to MadCat (the campus book catalog), journal and
information databases, Wiscinfo, and resources on the World Wide Web via a
Netscape-based client.
- Photocopying: One photocopier is available for use
by patrons. It accepts debitcards only. Copies are $0.07 per page. The Steenbock Library next door does have a machine to sell or add value to debitcards near its 1st floor main doors and next to room 334.
- Printing/downloading, and e-mailing: Both of the computers
have printing, downloading and e-mailing capabilities.
- Reading/study area: The library has seating to accommodate
24 readers.
- Food and drink policy: Drinks (coffee, tea, soda, milk)
are permitted with covered containers only, and not near the computers. Food
other than snack food is not permitted outside of the noon lunch hour. This
is a privilege. Please clean up your area as a courtesy to other library
patrons.
The Plant Pathology Library encourages its patrons to exercise care for their
personal belongings. To that end, patrons are asked not to leave
their books, papers, backpacks, etc., unattended for prolonged periods of time.
The Library cannot be held responsible for the loss of such materials. Thank you for your cooperation!!!
