Dr. Marcia Roye spends her winters in Jamaica and summers at UW-Madison. She is characterizing geminiviruses from West Indies; and in particular, she is studying a cabbage-infecting geminiviruses.  In the past, she and her colleagues have characterized weed-infecting geminiviruses and tomato dwarf leaf curl virus, which is an isolate of Tomato mosaic Havana geminivirus.
