Key to resistance rating

  • - =unknown or untested
  • VR=very resistant-no control needed
  • R=resistant-control only needed under high disease pressure
  • T=tolerant-disease symptoms evident, but with little detrimental effect on the plant or yield
  • I=intermediate
  • S=susceptible-control usually needed where disease is prevalent
  • VS=very susceptible-control always needed where disease is prevalent
* Disease reaction depends on races of the pathogen. For more information, contact Brian Smith (715-425-3851) or Patty McManus (608-265-2047).
